BRETT LEE STILL GOT IT! AUSTRALIA LEGEND DISMISSES PAKISTAN'S KAMRAN AKMAL DURING WCL 2024 CLASH - WATCH

Australia Champions skipper Brett Lee bowled brilliantly and led his team from the front in the powerplay of the World Championship of Legends match against Pakistan Champions. Lee got rid of Kamran Akmal in the first over itself with a terrific out-swinging delivery.

The former Australian speedster is still fit which is why he can still bowl at a good pace. Lee was appointed as the skipper of Australia Champions for the inaugural edition of the World Championship of Legends. It was on the fifth ball of the Pakistan Champions' innings when Lee bowled an outswing delivery as Kamran Akmal wanted to smash it over the cover region, but the ball ended up going straight to Dan Christian, who made no mistake in taking the catch.

However, Akmal smashed a four off Lee's bowling in the same over, but the Australian legend made a brilliant comeback by taking his opponent's wicket.

Brett Lee also took the wicket of Kamran Akmal's opening partner Sharjeel Khan in the powerplay. Even after Brett's two wickets in the powerplay, Pakistan Champions ended up chasing down the 191-run target set by Australia Champions at Edgbaston.

Younis Khan's smashed a brilliant half-century while Misbah-ul-Haq made an unbeaten 46, helping Pakistan Champions chase the target successfully in 19.4 overs. It was Shahid Afridi who ended things for his side, smashing a boundary off the fourth delivery of the final over.
