The Indian cricket squad clinched the T20 World Cup title against South Africa in Barbados last Saturday, encountering delays due to Hurricane Beryl before returning home on Thursday. Upon arrival, they met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence in New Delhi, reunited with their families, and proceeded to Mumbai for a grand parade along Marine Drive, culminating in a festive gathering at Wankhede Stadium.
During the jubilant procession, Captain Rohit Sharma and star batsman Virat Kohli proudly displayed the T20 World Cup 2024 trophy to throngs of enthusiastic fans lining the route.
