SURYAKUMAR YADAV'S REPLY GOES VIRAL AS SPOOF VIDEO OF DAVID MILLER'S CATCH SETS INSTAGRAM ABLAZE
Suryakumar Yadav's catch of David Miller in the T20 World Cup final created a massive controversy. Surya caught Miller on the first ball of the final over when South Africa needed 16 off six deliveries. The catch turned the game in India's favour as the Men in Blue won the game by seven runs, ending a long wait for an ICC title. Hardik Pandya bowled a full toss which Miller lofted it over the bowler. It seemed that the ball would clear the ropes with ease but Surya at the boundary lept in the air and took a magnificent catch. Surya was close to the boundary so the decision was sent to the third umpire who ruled Miller out after taking a close look at the replays, however, a section of fans on social media believed that Surya touched the boundary rope while taking the catch.
Several videos later emerged that put the controversy to rest and showed that Suryakumar Yadav was nowhere near the boundary rope. Several spoof videos of the catch were also circulating on social media. In one of the videos, a fan depicted how Bollywood would have shown Suryakumar Yadav's catch if it was a movie.

Meanwhile, the Indian cricket team got a resounding reception as they returned home after the T20 World Cup win. The team also took out an open bus parade from Nariman Point in Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium to celebrate the T20 World Cup win. The BCCI organised a special event at the Wankhede Stadium for team India to felicitate the team for the tremendous achievement. The board also handed the cheque of INR 125 crores to team India for their win in the T20 World Cup.
