VIRAT KOHLI'S FAMILY ARRIVES AT ITC MAURYA TO MEET THE T20 WORLD CUP WINNERS

Batting superstar Virat Kohli was on fire for Team India in the T20 World Cup 2024 final, which was played against South Africa in Barbados on June 29. In the title decider, the 35-year-old right-handed batter opened the innings for India and scored 76 runs from 59 balls. He helped India post a total of 176 runs on the board, which in the end proved too much for the Proteas.

For his super show with the bat in the final, Kohli won the Player of the Match award. After winning the T20 World Cup title, which helped him become the first cricketer to win all three ICC white-ball trophies and the U-19 World Cup as well, Kohli landed in India on Thursday (July 4) morning with other members of India’s T20 World Cup 2024 squad.

After arriving at the IGI airport in Delhi, Kohli checked in at the ITC Maurya Hotel, and after resting for a while there, he will travel to the PM office to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with other members of India’s T20 World Cup 2024 winning team.

After Team India arrived in Delhi on Thursday, Kohli’s family members, which include his brother Vikas and sister Bhawna Kohli Dhingra, were seen in the hotel lobby waiting for an opportunity to meet the star cricketer and congratulate him on India’s T20 World Cup title win.
