BENGAL GIRL SHINES AT 3RD ASIAN YOGA SPORTS CUP 2024, WINS FOUR GOLD MEDALS

Neha Bagh has made India proud by clinching the trophy at the 3rd Asian Yoga Sports Cup 2024 in Dubai. She has brightened up Bengal by winning gold medals in four categories. The girl returned to her village with the trophy from Dubai.

Neha Bagh is a resident of Balaberi village in Singur in Hooghly district. Neha left for Dubai a few days ago. Ten countries including Iraq, Iran, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Malaysia participated in the 3rd Asian Yoga Sports Cup 2024. A total of 23 contestants from different states of India participated in the game. There, Neha left everyone behind and won the title.

She returned with the Champion of Champions trophy from Dubai. Besides the trophy, she won gold in four categories. As she returned to her village, Neha was greeted with a grand welcome. On her return on Wednesday morning, the villagers welcomed her with garlands. After that, she came to the village in a procession from Kamarkundu railway station in Singur accompanied by the national flag and a band.

Meanwhile, in 2022, Neha won gold in two categories and silver in two categories in the second Asian Yoga Championship held in Bangkok, Thailand. A total of ten countries including India, China, Nepal and Vietnam participated in the Asian Yoga Championship held in Bangkok.

In 2023, she won four golds and became the first runner-up in the third international competition in Haryana, India. She won three golds and two silvers at the Tournament of Champions held in Bangkok that year. After this success in Dubai in 2024, she aims to win a gold medal in the World Championship in the future. She also thanked her mother, father, family and her institute for their love and support.
