RASHID KHAN'S STUNNING REPLY TO SACHIN TENDULKAR GOES VIRAL AS AFGHANISTAN REACH MAIDEN T20 WORLD CUP SEMIS

The Afghanistan cricket team created history as they stormed into their maiden T20 World Cup semifinal after defeating Australia and Bangladesh in the Super 8. The team also picked a massive win over New Zealand in the group stage. Gone are the days when Afghanistan were considered as minnow as this Afghanistan team under Rashid Khan knows how to beat the best teams in the world.

Afghanistan's march to the final is no fluke. The team had also delivered a stunning show in the ODI World Cup last year and missed a semifinal berth by a whisker but went on to beat teams like England, Sri Lanka, Netherlands and Pakistan. They almost handed Australia a huge defeat, however, Glenn Maxwell came to the team's rescue. This was not the case when the two teams met in the T20 World Cup as Afghanistan knocked Australia out of the tournament.

Legendary India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar congratulated Afghanistan for their tremendous run in the T20 World Cup and highlighted the hard work the team put in to overcome tournament favourites like Australia and New Zealand.
